How To Turn Off Facebook Notifications In Google Chrome
CHM Tech
In this tutorial I show you how you can turn off the Facebook notifications that are displayed by your Google Chrome web browser.
We all like to know when something's going on on our Facebook page, but the browser notifications are pushed even when you are not using Facebook at the moment.
So if you are annoyed by them, no worries, because they can be disabled in a few simple steps.

you need to look at chrome again the settings page has changed completely..
Though its different, all the buttons are the same and you can find them near to their past positions.
@hackerdude5856 No, Robert Kelly is right, it is different. It's called, "Site Settings" and there you will find the "notifications". Chrome Version 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit) It would be very nice if these Tech Help vids would put the version info in their video description.

What if you dont have "Show Advanced Settings" in your settings menu?? I on;y have FOUR choices under Settings: ~ Sync and Google services ~ Manage your Google Account ~ Customize your Chrome profile ~ Import bookmarks and settings Help!!
Facebook notifications were already set to block in Chrome but I was still getting notifications. I had to disable in Facebook as well.
Unfortunately that didn't work. I'm still getting pop-up notifications from Facey.
Very Helpful! But Google changed where things are, but with a little searching and digging, I found the area. Thank you!
