I feel like shes not a good mum. Subtle hints like "ugh, well MAYBE I had some friends around" and the fact she gets so defensive whenever they mention the fact he went missing. Shes angry as if shes trying to hide something. I dont think she knew but i think she suspects it, considering charlie wouldve had bruises etc cuz he fell but didnt die.

I dont like how some people view alice's rudeness and short temper as unreasonable, charlie was assumably returned home fast, while she was sleeping. She would have no idea why her son would be elsewhere than where she put him considering that he may not even be able to crawl yet, since he doesn't really move on his own in the first episode. I totally understand how ridiculous and horrifying this all sounds, of course she would be offended by the notion of did your son miraculously get taken out of your own house under your nose. When there was no way she could have prevented this kidnapping
